Field work
at Trout Pond. The students of the Hydrology and Environmental
Chemistry classes have been spearheading a multi- year study
of the surface and groundwater quality in this area on behalf
of the Town of Southampton.

Collecting
a sediment core as part of a study of the influence on groundwater
seepage on the distribution of eelgrass. The results of the
sedimentary textural analysis were submitted to the Suffolk
County Department of Health. |
