General Physics I
This is the first course in a two-course sequence. Four hours lecture, two hours laboratory. A study of mechanics to set up fundamental principles needed to describe motion; a study of the electromagnetic interactions using the field concept; formulation of Maxwell’s equations and a study of the wave phenomena in electromagnetism subsequent to the field concepts.
