Various forms of physical education are provided in response to
student interests and needs. A selection of physical education
courses is offered for credit and is listed under the
physical education course offerings.
The Physical Education Department offers a number of one credit elective courses on a quarterly (half-semester) basis. Up to four elective credits of physical education are applicable toward the undergraduate degree requirements of the college.
All facilities and equipment of the Athletic Department are available for student use at scheduled times. The gymnasium is open at posted times throughout the academic year for recreational use. Details about the schedules and use of athletic and recreational facilities may be obtained from the Physical Education Department.
Southampton Graduate Campus is a member of the N.C.A.A. (Division II) and the E.C.A.C.
